How Parking Heaters Work

Parking heaters operate by utilizing the vehicle's fuel to generate heat. The process typically follows these steps:

  1. Activation
    The heater is activated either manually or through a remote control system, allowing users to start the heating process conveniently.
  2. Fuel Supply
    Fuel is drawn from the vehicle’s fuel tank and mixed with air to form a combustible mixture.
  3. Ignition
    The fuel-air mixture is ignited within the heater, generating heat. This heat is then transferred to a coolant (usually water) inside the heater.
  4. Heat Distribution
    The heated coolant is circulated through the vehicle’s heating system, effectively warming both the cabin and the engine. This ensures a comfortable temperature inside the vehicle and allows the engine to be preheated for better performance.
  5. Temperature Regulation
    Once the desired temperature is reached, the heater will automatically shut off. However, the circulation pump will continue to run to maintain warmth inside the cabin and prevent the temperature from dropping too low.

Automatic Constant Temperature Control

In temperature mode, the heater maintains a constant temperature range of 10-35°C. Once the set temperature is reached, the heater reduces its frequency to stop heating. It will automatically restart heating when the temperature drops by approximately 2°C below the set point, ensuring consistent comfort.
